Our multi-pitch climbing course will prepare you with the necessary skills and knowledge to go up and come down multi-pitch climbs safely outdoors. Compared to single pitch climbing, multi-pitch climbing presents many more variables and dangers that a climber and belayer need to be aware of and experienced with to stay safe high off the ground. It is crucial for a climbing team to properly learn and understand what is involved with safely leading, belaying, and rappelling a multi-pitch climb outdoors. This course is ideal for climbers who have experience with single-pitch lead climbing and are looking to make the transition to climbing multi-pitch lines, or for climbers who seek to refine their existing multi-pitch techniques, skills, and safety knowledge! Although you don’t specifically need any previous climbing training to take this course, you will be at an advantage if you come in to this course already with an understanding of how to lead climb and lead belay on single-pitch sport or trad terrain.
Consider taking one or more of our other courses first if you have no experience yet and want to learn things step by step: Top-Rope Anchors and Rappelling Course (and/or) Sport Lead Climbing And Rappelling Course (and/or) Traditional Climbing Course
