Submit the form and we will get in touch with you by e-mail to confirm the details and design of your certificate.
Step 2)
Payments can be made either by credit card online or by e-transfer. Details will be sent by e-mail once the total value of the Gift Certificate has been confirmed.
Step 3)
We will e-mail you the Gift Certificate, or we can e-mail it directly to the recipient if you wish.
Booking Instructions for Recipient of Gift Certificate
Step 1: Registration Form
Recipients must fill out the ‘Registration Form’ to sign up for a specific date – found under the ‘Register’ tab (remember to include the voucher/promotion number in this form). Participants can find available dates for their particular outings in our ‘Events Calendar’ on our website. Once the ‘Registration Form’ has been submitted Outdoor Skills And Thrills will send an e-mail to the recipient to confirm the date/time/adventure details.
Step 2: Participant Information Sheet
Once The date/time of your public or private adventure has been confirmed, the next step will be to fill out the ‘Participant Information Sheet’ found under the ‘Register’ tab at www.outdoorskillsandthrills.com. Recipient will receive another e-mail from Outdoor Skills And Thrills to make sure all the information submitted is accurate.
Step 3: Trip Details
After the information for a specific booking has been confirmed, Outdoor Skills And Thrills will send recipient an ‘Information Package’ which includes all the finer details for the outing such as directions/parking, what to bring, waiver form, etc.
Policy Details
We make every effort to accommodate to your schedule, however all adventures/courses are confirmed and booked based on guide’s availability. Program reservations are not complete until the customer’s Registration Form, Participant Information Sheet, and full payment has been confirmed as received by Outdoor Skills And Thrills.
The full cost of the trip includes the rental of all technical equipment needed for the specific adventure: helmet, harness, rock shoes, chalk bag, ice axes, ice boots, crampons, and whatever other climbing equipment may be required for a specific course or adventure. Transportation however is not included, so you will need to arrange a way to and from the climbing spot.
At Outdoor Skills And Thrills we don’t only take participants on epic adventures, we also offer a photo collection of their experience captured by our climbing photographer(s). We cannot guarantee a specific number of photos that you will receive as it is dependent on a number of variables, but if you added on this feature you can expect to receive an average of 10-25 high quality photos put together in a collection and sent to the recipient by e-mail.
Participants will be required to sign our waiver form before commencing the program. Customers will receive it along with the trip ‘Information Package’ sent out after program registration has been confirmed. Participants under the age of 18 will need their parent/guardian’s permission to complete registration. Minors who show up for an adventure or course without a properly signed waiver by their parent or legal guardian will not be allowed to participate.
It is important to make sure that your current insurance plan covers you in the case of an illness, accident, cancellation, or interruption prior to or during your trip; get extra coverage if necessary. In the case of a trip cancellations or interruptions, we cannot be held responsible for expenses incurred by the client in connection with the trip such as airfare, car rental, equipment purchases, etc.
All gift certificate payments are non-refundable. Requests for cancellations or date changes must be submitted in writing to info@outdoorskillsandthrills.com. Please notify us as soon as possible if you wish to make any changes to your gift certificate. We reserve the right to cancel any program due to weather or route conditions, guide health, or for any other reason deemed necessary by the guide. In such cases, we are not responsible for expenses incurred by the client in connection with the trip such as airfare, car rental, equipment purchases, etc. If we cancel an outing prior to the trip date, every effort will be made to reschedule for another available date within the current season. By its very nature, climbing is an uncertain endeavor, and many factors can influence the outcome of a trip. Accordingly, once a trip begins, we are unable to offer refunds for weather related cancellations, or for trips that end prematurely due to weather, route conditions or circumstances within, or affecting, your group.
