Dorion Tower Lookout: This stunning rock pillar can be found 45 minutes East of Thunder Bay in the township of Dorion, and doubles as a popular rock climbing destination. With the access road not being well maintained, a 4×4 or high clearance vehicle is needed to get to the parking spot. The hike in from the parking spot is an intermediate trail that ends at a cliffside with multiple stunning panoramic lookouts. We often align this outing with one of our Dorion Tower rock climbing adventures so you could get the opportunity to watch climbers scale the tower as an added bonus! Down the Canyon: Helmets on beyond the Lookout for this extended adventure, and down into the canyon we will go! Follow your guide through the maze of boulders and cliffs all the way to the tower itself. Close-toed shoes required, hiking shoes preferred and highly recommended.

The Sleeping Giant: This location an hour East of Thunder Bay offers a wide range of options for outdoor exploration with its vast gorgeous trail networks that are well maintained. It caters to those who are beginners or have children with spots like the iconic Sea Lion trail, the nature interpretation trail, the Thunder Bay lookout, beautiful beaches, and so much more. Top of the Giant: If you’re an avid hiker who wants a full day challenge, hiking to the top of the giant is an experience that will last you a lifetime! Available to be reserved as a private outing, the iconic cliff gorge overlooking Lake Superior does not disappoint.
